To clarify, we did not cancel the ice times. Every summer the rink brings in some type of money making event, this year it's a circus on ice (or something.) So i guess the upstairs rink is closed for the month and they only rent out the downstairs ice. So our Wednesday ice time is cancelled.
BUT, we have been offered next Wednesday the 9th of August. Of course, it isn't worth going if we only have a few people show up. I sent out a mass email with the details. If you didn't get it then give me your email address on this blog and I will add it to the email list. Anyways, right now we have three people committed to Wednesday and that's just not enough. Not to mention that it wouldn't be that fun. It'd be better just to play street hockey. Well, I' give eveyrone the weekend to get back to me and if tehre are no takers then we won't book teh ice.
