The sport of hockey has been witness to a great number of hard- fought battles: the cold-war tourneys between

Dates are yet to be determined because we still have to see what ice times are available at the rink. We are hoping to either get, in order of preference, 1) a Saturday ice time on top of our usual Sunday or, 2) a second Sunday ice time or, 3) a three hour ice time on Sunday (for two games) or, 4) a Saturday ice time at another rink. More info will be available after Sunday’s shinny outing.
A few things rumbling through the tribal meetings: 1) we are going to hire a couple of certified referees who own their own whistles. 2) We are also hoping to get access to the scoreboard. Basically, we want to find the right mix of competitiveness and fun to have a grand Ol’ Inter-Squad Tourney. I am also pushing for a new trophy that we would use in all our tournaments. I would like to see every name on the winning team engraved on the side for future generations of Chiefs to gawk at. Don’t know if it will happen but it would be awesome.
We also plan to have the
The delegated captains for this tourney (surprise!!! we haven’t told them yet) are Paul A., Big D. and Lexi. If any of you cannot attend this tourney please contact us ASAP. It would be great if you three could show-up as often as possible to get to know all the new faces out there. As captains you will also have the honor of naming your team.
More info on all this will be posted in the near future. Don’t forget about the BBQ on the 23rd. Check out the following post for all the details.

Good work seabass!!
I agree. Hope to hear more info soon.
So, when do you think will be the first day of our tournament?
We are hoping the first day of the tourney will be October 14th (if we get the Saturday ice time). Or else it will be on October 15th (probably bright and early)
the games should consist of three 20 minutes periods running time (if our ice times are an hour and half long) but, take note that the rule book has not been written as of yet.
Word on how much it'll cost? (guestimate would do for now since we don't know how many ice times we'll get)
well, the cost of the tourney is in direct correlation with amount of ice times we get and the number of lines each team will have...so, we'll wait on the ice times and then we'll be able to better estimate the costs...right now it's between 1 dollar and 1 billion trillion gazillion scooby bills (but don't quote me. after all, it's just an educated guess)
Tommy and I will an issue with scooby bills. The Candian dollar is much stronger against it!!! -Terry
What takes them so long to figure out how much ice times they will have? I guess things are kinda in a mess with the Ice Circus in town but still...
it's more like we haven't asked them yet...we wanted to ask them on Sunday but they weren't there and everyone is busy during the week so Jay is going to go for us but I haven't heard from him yet
Karls team is goin to get a beatdown!!! u can mark my words on it!!! he always loses in these tournys!!!
