CHIEFS SPRING FLING 2009

Ok folks !! Roster and schedule is set!! This is not an easy process to try and make three even teams. It is now up to you to commit to this tourney and make great games. Trust me, your team would rather have you show up hungover than not at all.

You will be playing everyday until May, and one team will play 2 games on a Sunday. May 3rd is an off day ALTHOUGH there is still hockey, just not a tourney game. (although we don't have May's ice times yet..but should be a go) The tournament fee will be 65 000 per player. ( I know I said the cost wouldn't go up...but we moved from 2 teams to 3) PAY your Captain SUNDAY!!

Ok, let's get fired up for this boys and girl !! Please be ON TIME ..no, please BE EARLY...having teams ready will be key for this to run well with 2 games in one Sunday. Games will start regardless of who's ready..including goalies.

Team Angola won the 2008 Chiefs Fall Fling by a score of 6-3.

This was another fun successful tourney and we look forward to see who will hoist the cup in the spring.

The after party will be in Sinchon and Hongdae. Dinner is at Manmi Jib behind the Hyundai Department store at 6pm. We will eat and drink there for a couple hours then go to Janes Groove in Hongdae. (basement of RMT building)

Our ice times have not been given to us yet, but I think it's safe to assume that this Wednesday the 1st is no problem from 9 to 11pm. The following Sunday there is NO ice time. So the next should be the 8th.
This is a busy week for the Chiefs. Hosting their first international tournament! It's a mini tournament, but tournament non the less! The puck drops early at 8am on Friday morning however the Chiefs have always been used to early ice.The next and final day games go from 12pm to 4pm. Geckos,Incheon and Tokyo will join us and lets hope everything runs smoothly and we all can have a blast. If you are around and wish to have a look at the action feel free to drop by. We could use some support.

Hi Chiefs,

The Incheon Iceholes would like to play us this Sunday August 10th, 12-pm-2pm.

Our numbers have been pretty low so we're hoping that a game will bring people out. As always, it's first come, first served. We don't stack teams but we play to win (or should I say, we try a little harder in the last five minutes of the game).

These are the first 16 players and goalie to sign up for the game. We realize that more players have signed up, but we don't have any more room, sorry.
